Hammond Opticians have been awarded Community Practice of the Year by the UK’s largest association representing independent opticians and optometrists.
Hammond Opticians was shortlisted amongst three optical practices chosen from throughout the UK to receive the accolade from business support group SightCare for their dedication to eyecare in their local community.
Hammond Opticians have been open for the eyecare needs of the local community at the same location on London Road for over 90 years, and have continued to uphold a high standard of care for all that visit their practice.
Practice owner and Optometrist Deven Lakhani said: “We are very proud and honoured to be recognised as the Community Practice of the Year (2022) by our professional bodies.
Our family run business has been looking after the eyecare needs for Enfield residents continuously since 1932 and winning this accolade from our peers gives us great satisfaction.
We plan to continue to provide the same level of excellent care and service to all our patients in Enfield for many years to come.”
